Global Accessibility Awareness Day
Thursday, May 16, 2024, marks the 13th Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access/inclusion and people with different disabilities.
To mark GAAD 2024, a new video has been produced on the ‘Voices of Disability’. Staff and students can access the video on MediaSpace.
Over the past several months we have been sharing lots of content on our Learning Technologies blog to support ongoing work around digital accessibility at UoN. Below you can find links to further resources shared on the blog, including an overview our our NAPs (Nottingham Accessibility Practices) best practice for creating accessible resources in Word, PowerPoint and multimedia, and creative accessible layout ideas for use on your Moodle site.
