Staff and Student Drop-in Support Sessions

This is just a quick reminder about our staff and student drop-in support sessions.

Student drop-in sessions have been scheduled throughout January. Feel free to visit for advice and guidance on Moodle, Examsys, or for any other technology-related questions you may have.

Student drop-ins:

Pop by for any of the drop-in sessions below. We will be there from 11 am until 1 pm.

• University Park, Portland C Floor Corridor – 16th January and 30th January​
• Sutton Bonington, Student Hub – 17th January and 31st January​
• Jubilee campus, Foyer of the Exchange Building – 18th January and 1st February​
• Queens Medical Centre outside Student Services B floor, near the bridge – 15th January and 29th January.​

Staff drop-ins:

We also have ​dedicated staff drop-ins which run throughout the year during term-time. No appointments are needed. Please just drop by between the available time slots.

• Arts and Social Sciences – Location: University Park, Monica Partridge Building. When: Tuesdays 12-2pm. Alternatively, you can access the drop-in on MS Teams: Arts and Social Sciences Learning Technology Virtual Drop–in.
• Engineering- Location: University Park A9 Coates. When: Wednesdays and Thursdays, 1-3pm. Alternatively, you can access the drop-in on MS Teams from 1–3 p.m. daily:  Engineering Learning Technology Virtual Drop-in
• Medicine and Health Sciences (MHS) – Location: Medical School, E62 MHS Hub. When: Thursdays, 12–2 p.m. Alternatively, you can access the drop-in on MS Teams every Thursday 12-2pm:  MHS Learning Technology Virtual Drop-in
• Science – Location: University Park A9 Coates. When: Alternate Thursdays 11-12pm.
• Biosciences and Veterinary School – Location: Sutton Bonington Campus, North Lab, B floor opposite B08. When: Alternate Mondays 11-1pm (Starting Monday 8th Jan).

Daily staff support

Virtual drop-in sessions are also run through Teams on a daily basis. Ad hoc support is available Monday to Friday between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm.
