UoN IT Service Desk receives SDI certification

The University IT Service Desk received SDI certification for a further 12 months following new standards which increased the number of criteria from 104 to 132.

Jon Cox, Head of the IT Service Desk, commented, “this is a great way to end 2017 for the IT Service Desk. We’re all delighted and relieved to maintain our certification. Given the much tougher standards, our success is testament to the hard work and dedication of the team.

University of Nottingham IT Service Desk is one of only a handful of universities in the UK to hold the SDI certification. SDI is a worldwide professional body for those working in the IT service and support industry.
