Printer upgrades coming soon

Printer replacements starting November 2019

As part of the University print service refresh project, we are now starting the process of replacing 238 printers with new faster devices. The first phase of the rollout will take place during November and 72 printers will be replaced.

What is changing? – The new devices are faster (55 pages per minute) and will have a modern user interface with less physical buttons. Examples of the new interface can be viewed here (Office 365 login required).

How does this affect users?

There will be some minor disruption as the Xerox team swap printers. A plan for November detailing the locations can be viewed online (Office 365 login required). On each day there will be a short period of time where the printer in the location is unavailable. Printers in other areas will be unaffected by this work.
