UoN Office 365 – Campus Roadshows
Information Services are midway through running our first round of Office 365 Roadshows and so far, so good!
Over the last week we’ve met over 150 University staff from a wide range of Faculties and Professional Service Departments. Questions are encouraged during the interactive sessions and our colleagues have presented us with lots of scenarios where they think they’ll be able to benefit from using Office 365 applications, as well as asking questions about functionality, usability and the difference between cloud and existing on-campus systems. The roadshows are about so much more than just email online, and seeing first-hand reactions as to how Office 365 could potentially empower our colleagues across the University has been very rewarding.
Some of the feedback we’ve received so far after the roadshows includes:
“I found the roadshow informative, giving a rounded view of Office 365 and some really useful tips. I found out two things I don’t know about Office 365, and I had been on a lunch and learn sessions beforehand!”
“I thought the session was very well presented and it was great to see a friendly team from IT supporting this. The team were very knowledgeable answering all the many questions presented to them. The team were approachable and good support was shown in offering bespoke sessions…”
So far, our team has visited Derby City Hospital, King’s Meadow Campus, Nottingham City Hospital and presented twice at University Park. This week we’re running roadshows at Jubilee Campus, Queens Medical Centre, Sutton Bonington and we’re back again at University Park.
These roadshows will provide colleagues with the chance to see an overview of what Office 365 could do for you. Each session last around 60- 90 minutes, and we think they are a great way to get a good grounding on what’s coming.
