Information Services Repairs 1700 laptops in 2015

During 2015, Information Services helped repair almost 1700 broken devices at our Laptop Loan and Repair centre. The service is located in room A15b, Pope Building, University Park. Open from 9.00 on weekdays, it offers a comprehensive diagnosis and repair service (non-warranty) for a wide range of personal devices, including laptops, mobile phones, tablets and PCs.

As well as diagnosis and repair, our IT specialists are also on hand at the Service Point to offer advice and guidance on how to resolve a wide range of technical issues- just come and ask! We can even loan you one of our devices while we fix yours.

Manager of the Centre, Andy French, commented ‘IS staff at the Laptop Loan & Repair service were delighted to receive a satisfaction score of 8/10 by 90% of our customers during 2015. We see a huge variety of devices and try to help wherever we can, sourcing the right parts from our suppliers and ensuring a professional repair service with all devices returned refurbished and installed with relevant software updates.’
