A big ‘hello’ from Careers

By Jackie Thompson, Information and Communications Manager

Whether you’re just starting at Nottingham or a returning student, the University’s Careers team is here for you. Although we’re not physically on campus, we are online to help you navigate these extraordinary times.

A snapshot of the autumn term

As well as online careers appointments and  job-hunting workshops, our careers fairs (three in October!) and Spotlight On events will be virtual too. So, if you’re moving into your final year, starting a masters or PhD or looking for some work experience, check out our events programme and add the dates and times to your calendar.

For those thinking about gaining work experience, there are plenty of opportunities for you at Nottingham, including the Digital Marketing Academy which has just opened for applications.

And finally, a heads-up that our Career Mentoring programme, which gives you access to Nottingham alumni working in an area of work that interests you, is open until 18 October. Read Kathryn Moore’s blog post about how her mentor, Jo, has given her a real insight into the Civil Service.
