Molly Fong, Chief Executive Officer (MBA, 2011)
Chief Executive Officer of The Body Shop in West Malaysia and Vietnam. Molly joined the company in 1996 as Communications Officer after a short stint in the advertising industry and was appointed General Manager in 2003. She expanded the business from 16 to 64 stores located strategically in major urban centres throughout the peninsula currently, and launched the e-commerce business in 2012.
Molly also developed and managed the company’s values campaigns to bring about social and environmental change in Malaysia, including the Stop Violence Against Women campaign with Women’s Aid Organisation 1997-2006 – during which both awareness and funds were raised throughout a decade, at a time when domestic violence was still treated as a “behind closed doors” issue.
