HiCoE Calls for 2013
We have recently received this email.
We are pleased to announce the opening of HicoE Application 2013 from 7 January 2013- 15 February 2013.
If you would like to apply, kindly complete the survey form which can be downloaded from http://www.mohe.gov.my and http://jpt.mohe.gov.my
Please forward your complete form to us 13 February 2013, we will then submit to MOHE before the due date.

If you are interested in applying for an HiCoE, and they are very competitive, you should do the following:
- Make sure that you understand what is required to apply for an HiCoE. They are very competitive and you need to meet a strict set of criteria.
- Talk to your faculty research committee to see if you have their support. Although HiCoE, in many ways, cut across disciplines boundaries, it is important that any HiCoE’s have the support of your faculty research committee before it gets to the campus Research Strategy Committee.
- If you have the support, then we will arrange a meeting between interested parties to see how best to position ourselves to make a bid that has the best chance of success; taking into account the resources we have available.
We have also made available a couple of spreadsheets that were were sent which can be downloaded from Workspace.
