By Andriana Petrova

Did you know that physical activity can help you beat the stress, boost your mood, and give you more energy? Not only that but also that exercise is a powerful tool to reduce risk of serious illnesses too?

One whole week dedicated to helping you stay healthy, both physically and mentally. There are plenty of factors that affect your well-being, from living away from home, to living on a student budget or struggling with a work life balance. We’ve all been there. University life has its challenges,  that’s why, this week the Healthy U team, UoN Sport and UoN Engage have joined forces r to give you the opportunity to get active, get free health advice and start to get balance back in to your life. From how to get active to mental health advice – it is all included.

Kick-start your Monday

Give your week a kick-start with an early morning session of tennis or a special well-being workout on Monday. These, together with our Active Tone and Supported Fitness Inductions classes, are designed to give you the perfect level of intensity to leave you feeling great and energetic throughout the day. Join as many as you want next Monday! At lunchtime, come to our stall in the Portland Building to talk to our very own sports staff and get some advice and information on physical activity, sports and getting involved. Finish off your ‘Get active’ Monday at University Park Sports Centre with Engage for either a fun Trampoline session or a challenging gym fit session.

Why stop after one day?
