The event “Postgraduate Research (PGR) Night” was successfully carried out on the 4^th of October 2013 in the Great Hall, UNMC. This event was organised by the PGR students from the Faculty of Engineering in conjunction with the PGR week. The aim of the event was to kick-start the start of a new semester by providing PGR students with a chance to build networks among PGR students across engineering disciplines whilst having a dinner. Overall, the “PGR Night” managed to attract more than 40 PGR students in attending this social event.

The “PGR Night” started at 6.45 pm with the dinner and followed by ice-breaking games, “Shake Me Hands” and “Line Action Game”. The event concluded with a free flow of sparkling juice and photography sessions whilst participants mingled around the Great Hall and surrounding areas. After a long and eventful week, this final PGR week event ended at approximately 9.45 pm.
