Dear Colleague,
We would like to inform you that the Request for Proposal (RFP), for NPRP-Exceptional Proposal (NPRP-EP) has been updated and now available for download at; http://www.qnrf.org/funding_programs/nprp/exceptional_proposal/
NPRP-EP is an extra funding opportunity for proposals of exceptional scientific merit that require funds in excess of the normal level of NPRP funding, QNRF solicits scientists with exceptional ideas, approaches, procedures and models that may solve key issues of national, regional or global interest which should be aligned to Qatar National Research Strategy (QNRS) to apply for the NPRP-EP. The maximum budget for such proposals is US$5m with maximum project duration of up to five years.
The application process starts by submitting Initial Research Proposal (IRP), were a panel of expert will invite the Lead-PI to present his idea for their decision on whether the IRP can proceed to the full proposal submission or not.
EP-Panel meet quarterly, and the expected coming meeting will be in Oct 2013, hence any interested eligible applicants should have their IRP submitted and vetted by the research office inside Qatar no later than 30th of Sep 2013, otherwise the IRP will have to wait until the next panel meeting which should be around March 2014.
For more information about the eligibility and guidelines please refer to the NPRP-EP RFP.
For your enquires please submit them through the support link;
