Stuart Hall Project Screening

The way we teach and practice critical theory here in the Centre for Critical Theory is utterly entangled with cultural studies. For both fields as well as for the British Left of that last thirty years or so, Stuart Hall has undoubtedly been a key figure.

You will be pleased to know then, that the Broadway Cinema is screening John Akomfrah’s recent and highly praised documentary Stuart Hall Project at 6pm on Monday the 14th of October.

You should be even more pleased to know that the screening will be introduced by long-time friend of critical theory in Nottingham, himself a founding figure in British cultural studies, and Emeritus Professor here at the University of Nottingham, Roger Bromley. It will be well worth attending so we hope to see you there!
