India’s election hots up

The #IndiaVotes2014 blog hosted on Ballots and Bullets and associated commentary hots up.  IAPS Director, Katharine Adeney posted an article in The Conversation discussing the election campaign.  This week the blog has featured analysis of the Modi factor, by Dr James Chiriyankandath from the Institute of Commonwealth Studies, Dr Andrew Wyatt from the Univeristy of Bristol discussing the main issues (and narratives) of the campaign, and Dr Louise Tillin from Kings College London questioned whether national parties are making a comeback.

We have some great posts lined up for next week – on the absence of health issues in the campaign, what the ‘none of the above’ voting option means, and how the parties are using India’s foreign policy to benefit their campaigns.
