Post-exam adventures

Almost 2 weeks ago I stepped out of my last ever exam at the University, which was a really weird (but relieving) feeling! Since then, I’ve actually been very busy doing things which aren’t revision. This has included:

  • Post-exam celebratory lunch and a pint:
    Fish, chips and cider!

After my final exam I wanted to celebrate and went for lunch at the Ned Ludd in the city centre. However, I was pretty tired so rather than partying afterwards, I had a good old nap. I think I deserved it as I’d had 2 exams in the last 24 hours (phew!).

  • Going for walks: this included enjoying the beautiful University scenery (which I will miss very much when I leave) and walking to Beeston marina to look at some boats.

  • Day trips: I took a trip to Lichfield with my mum, which has a beautiful Cathedral, and a trip to Haddon Hall in Bakewell, Derbyshire, with my friends where we borrowed a selfie stick to take some pictures in a rose garden.

  • Going back to work: as well as all this, I’ve also gone back to doing shifts at Lakeside Arts Centre. I’ve actually quite enjoyed getting back and seeing my colleagues again, so it’s not been too bad!

I hope you’ve also been enjoying end of term freedom!
