ANN: “6. Forum Ostasiatische Kunstgeschichte/6th Forum East Asian Art History”, to open with 19 speakers, 16-17 June 2017, Berlin

The “6. Forum  Ostasiatische Kunstgeschichte/6th  Forum East Asian Art History” is about to start from 16 to 17 June 2017 in Berlin’s Museum für Asiatische Kunst (Museum for Asian Art), Takustr. 40 (kleiner Vortragsraum), 14195 Berlin. The annually organized, itinerant forum is dedicated to connect early career researchers situated in the German speaking regions with museum curators or staff of relevant cultural institutions and distinguished senior researchers in the field of East Asian art history. Additionally, it welcomes European and international early career contributors with an interest to network across institutional and national borders (read more on the Forum’s concept here).

The 6th Forum East Asian Art History is jointly conceived and organized by Fabian Kommoß (Universität Potsdam), Alina Martimyanova (Universität Zürich), Juliane Noth (Freie Universität Berlin), Wibke Schrape (Museum für Asiatische Kunst, SMB), Liangming Wang (Universität Heidelberg).

It is hosted by Freie Universität Berlin in collaboration with the Museum für Asiatische Kunst and kindly supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für ostasiatische Kunst e.V.
