ANN: N. Foster and J. Chin Davidson participate in AAH-Panel (6-8 April 2017 at Loughborough, UK)

ReNet MoCoCA is delighted to announce the participation of two of its members at the Annual Conference of the Association of Art Historians (AAH) taking place from 6-8 April 2017 at Loughborough, UK.

Nicola Foster (The Free University, London) and Jane Chin Davidson (California State University, San Bernardino) present recent research in the panel “Art History as Créolité/Creolising Art History” chaired by Alpesh Kantilal Patel (Florida International University, Miami). While Foster will explore The ‘Opacity’ of Contemporary Chinese Art Histories, Chin Davidson will elaborate on The Glossary of Glissant: Chineseness, Decoloniality and the globalised field of art history.
