Video Blog: UNNC’s thoughts on Project Transform

We recently told you about our visit to the Malaysia campus and the staff and students’ thoughts on Project Transform. We also spent some time at the University of Nottingham China campus where staff revealed that they were very hopeful about the project’s various capabilities. One of the things that emerged was the positive tangible effects that the new system will have upon the students’ offline experiences.

“I especially look forward to the GoLive of the part for graduation ceremonies because ceremonies are important events for our students who celebrate their academic achievements with their families, friends and University staff. I hope this system will enhance their experience of the whole process.” – Rebecca Jin, China Liaison and Special Projects Officer.

Project Transform is working to make the processes associated with graduation ceremonies much more efficient. Anything relating to confirming attendance, ordering tickets and making payments will be accessible through one online hub.

Members of staff also expressed excitement about the personalised timetabling system that will be available to students, and the efficiencies that this will provide regarding its accessibility from multiple platforms and devices.

During the visit, five of our Project Transform ambassadors delivered training sessions and functional insights for GoLive 1, as well as potential processes for GoLive 2. Staff on the China campus also received an enhanced understanding of how Project Transform’s solution will integrate with the requirements of the existing online systems.

Watch the video below to meet some of the staff from our China campus and find out how they think Project Transform will benefit our students.
