Welcome to Project Transform

Welcome to the new Project Transform blog from the whole team here on Kings Meadow Campus.

As you may be aware, the University is embarking on a programme of work to deliver joined up support systems and processes throughout the student lifecycle, across the whole University. With the best systems and the most streamlined and consistent processes we will be able to offer a hugely improved student experience. In addition there will be major time savings for academics and administrative staff who advise and support students and run the systems upon which students and Schools depend.

Project Transform is growing at a fast pace, the team is getting bigger and we are making excellent progress. We therefore think it’s about time we have an interactive space where we will provide you with the project’s updates and you can provide us with your feedback and questions.

Project Transform takes a comprehensive approach, summarised as “People, Process, Technology”. Is it far more than merely an IT system implementation programme, it’s about delivering a solution that the University values and which ensures the most efficient processes, supported by the right technology. This is why we have three core teams; the Change team, the Process Design team and the Technology team. Each will keep you up-to-date on their journey throughout the project.

Please catch up with our previous blogs which were hosted on University Executive Board blog, now copied over to our blog for your convenience. These will give you an overview of Project Transform and the progress that has been made up to this point.

We are also celebrating the introduction of our very own Project Transform website today. Please take a look around at http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/project-transform/home.aspx

If you require any further information, want to leave your feedback or ask a question please don’t hesitate to leave a comment on this blog or contact the project team at transform@nottingham.ac.uk.
