‘Playing to win’ – highlights from Karren Brady’s lecture

Karren Brady CBE, Baroness of Knightsbridge and star of BBC’s The Apprentice, visited the University to deliver the first ever Chancellor’s Lecture on Thursday 26 March.

Introduced by Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir David Greenaway, the lecture touched on a number of fascinating issues, with Baroness Brady sharing experiences from her unique career and giving insightful views in an audience Q&A. Highlights included top tips for students to stand out in the graduate market, an exploration of women in business, and an answer to the question ‘do you ever despair of candidates on The Apprentice?’
