Computer Science Research Away Day
On Friday 1st November 2013, Computer Science organised a research away day at KLTC.
The aim of the day was to plan for the current MOSTI call and, more widely, to encourage more proposal submissions by Computer Science.
The workshop benefited from colleagues from other Schools/Faculties who also joined the workshop in order to offer the advice and experience, as well as look for collaborative opportunities.
As well as planning out a number of research proposals, that will be developed over the next few weeks before another workshop in early December, there were short talks from Andy Chan, Nash Billa, Graham Kendall and Anita Pathmathasan on various aspects of writing/submitting grants.
Good workshop. Working with the CS crowd is always fun 🙂
