Collaboration Development Awards – Materials

This is probably only applicable to a few people at UNMC but I thought it was worth flagging up. Please note the deadline of 31st Oct 2012.

We recently received this email from the British High Commission Kuala Lumpur.

Dear colleagues at UNMC,

I am pleased to inform you the British High Commission has secured a modest amount of funding to support the establishment and development of new collaborations. These Collaboration Development Awards will cover the costs of travel between UK and Southeast Asia to catalyse new activities, through visits to researchers in complementary fields or short secondments of researchers to a potential partner’s laboratory to evaluate the viability of joint projects or develop project proposals.

Please find attached the CDA proposal form in the area of Materials. Do take note of the following key dates:

• Applications by 31st October 2012
• Decision notification during mid November 2012
• Travel to be complete and invoices submitted by 15th February 2013

The maximum amount for the award is Singapore Dollar $4500 (around MYR 11,000).
