My journey to be a brewmaster

Sungwhan Park from South Korea is studying MSc Brewing Science and Practice and received the Korea Masters Scholarship in 2016.

I was honoured to receive the Korea Masters Scholarship from the University of Nottingham. It helped me burden down my financial stress. I highly encourage to prospective Korean students to apply this amazing scholarship opportunity.

Practical training to be a brewmaster

I started my journey at the University of Nottingham to become a brewmaster. I have enjoyed my MSc Brewing Science and Practice course so far because the University of Nottingham provides essential academic lectures with well structured brewing science curriculum and various hands-on experiences with on-site brewing facilities. This curriculum and hands-on experiences give me opportunities to learn practical brewing skills and develop creative beer products.

In addition, I have learned practical wisdom and knowledge in brewing science by visiting large and small breweries, attending Fit For Work sessions, and talking to many visiting scholars in brewing. With all of these wonderful opportunities and learning experiences at the University of Nottingham, I have no doubt that I will succeed as a brewmaster in the future.
