Happy New Year from everyone at the University!
We are now back at work, planning a series of global events for 2015 and want to share our plans for the next few months as we have some really exciting events in the diary.
Internationally we have a range of events already scheduled.
If you’re a UNNC graduate based in Hong Kong, then look out for details of an event being organised by your ambassador, Jane Tang, later this month. You can contact Jane for further details at: tangjing89@gmail.com. Also, following the success of our tri-campus alumni event in Hong Kong in November last year, we’ll be visiting again for an event in April, together with the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir David Greenaway and other members of staff.
The British Council is hosting its UK alumni grand reunion event on 31 January. Back in Europe, our alumni group in Paris is organising drinks and a meal in the Bastille area of Paris for the end of February/beginning of March. We’ll be advertising more details shortly, but in the meantime you can learn more and register your interest by emailing your ambassador for France, Greg Sayer: gregory.j.sayer@gmail.com
We’ll also be Stateside again this spring with an alumni event planned for New York in March. We’ll be in touch soon with more details.
Closer to home, our Varsity Ice Hockey match will be taking place between UoN and Nottingham Trent in the last week of April. Tickets will be available to alumni to come and watch this exciting match at the Ice Arena, so if you’re interested in coming along, keep an eye out for an invite in the next couple of months.
