Looking back, moving forward: Applying for next year’s Award modules
This year has been filled with some huge successes! Not only did The University of Nottingham become the most targeted university by The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers, but our survey showed that 100% of students who have completed the Nottingham Advantage Award would recommend it to others.
Our Celebration Event this year was one of our best. It reached maximum capacity, with over 140 students and VIPs attending. The Career-focused eMentoring Scheme was voted as the Module of the Year, and 14 of our highest calibre Award students won prizes or were highly commended by some of the UK’s top employers!
We are very proud to announce that a total of 2740 students are currently taking part in the Nottingham Advantage Award, and over 220 completed it this year! Every year more and more students get involved with modules on the Award. We often hear success stories from our alumni that really show how the Award can boost your job prospects.
Over at the Nottingham Advantage Award headquarters we have been busy organising new modules and we have just had confirmation that there will be a whopping 214 to choose from next year! Workspace is currently being updated with information about next year’s modules and we expect to have most modules updated by the second week of August 2014.
In the meantime, some modules have already started accepting applications. If you’re interested in sports, peer mentoring, community volunteering or gaining some work experience, then you could apply for one of these modules now:
Community and volunteering modules
Peer mentoring modules
Work experience modules
If you want to apply for a module now, but aren’t sure how to do so, then this Guide to the Nottingham Advantage Award might help!
For those who are new to the Award and would like to find out more information, come and see us at one of our autumn semester information or drop-in sessions. You can view the session timetables here. If you can’t make it to one of those, please drop us an email at: Nottinghamfirstname.lastname@example.org
We’re looking forward to seeing you in September, but until then, we hope you have a great summer!
