Welcome to our new physics and astronomy blog!

Welcome to the School of Physics and Astronomy’s Blog. This blog has been set up by our School community of students and academic staff, to share their insight into what it’s like to study physics and astronomy at the University of Nottingham.

In our blog we’ll cover all aspects of our research and teaching. You’ll discover the range of research happening in the school, including the projects students are working on, and opportunities for research placements.

We also want to share all the activities open to students, either through their course, such as studying abroad, or as part of our PhysSoc student society.Image of PhysSoc, University of Nottingham's physics society, logo
