Very Interesting People
This week I promised an interesting blog. Well…I am going to Barcelona in the summer with my family, I have become addicted to the programmes Parks and Recreation, watched Uma Thurman try and Kill Bill and I have just made a hot chocolate. That pretty much sums up the interesting aspects of my week.
I did witness a bike collide with a woman collide with a child all collide with the pavement earlier in the week but I’m not entirely sure that fits the category! I could have drawn all of these stories into long winded descriptions, ringing the interesting out of them but instead I have something else to offer up (so please keep reading!)
While whining about what to write, my housemate very cleverly pointed out that she has most definitely had a more interesting week than I have and that I should just blog about her life. Taking this advice a step further, I then assumed that collectively all of my housemates have probably had a far more interesting week than I have, deciding to provide an insight into their day to day lives (whether they want me to or not!)
So without further adieu I introduce Kiran’s Housemates:

“My legs are cold and I need to put some trousers on but I can’t because that means I have to get up from the blanket”

“I had a cold before Kiran had a cold (such a trendsetter), discovered I can no longer fit into a pillowcase, I went to Crisis and kind of went to Bodega. I hurt my ankle, couldn’t walk, suffered from sleep paralysis, didn’t like it. I started my coursework and handed it in in 1 day because I’m wicked. I played Netball, won at Netball, watched a lot of rugby, ate a lot of food and then some more food…”
Hannah then left to change into a pair of trousers.

“I am conducting an analytical survey of the Arab Spring. That’s the only thing I’m doing!”
This week my life has been more interesting than Kiran’s because…
“I managed to rock out harder than anyone else could at Rock City. I have also been leading a life of self control because I can’t play guitar at the moment due to my arm. I sprained it or ripped a muscle, which is also why I haven’t been to the gym. I feel parallels to the samurai lifestyle because they abstain from certain practices too SO THAT’S FUN. Also, what is this for?’
Steve then kicked me out of his room.

“I’m sorting through my suits and ties”
This week my life has been more interesting than Kiran’s because…
“I held a golden eagle, my little brother said my name for the first time, I don’t have to write a blog, I got through to the next stage of a job application, I have a brummy accent and I missed some of my lectures.”
If it was not for this blog I probably would not have found out about most of these things.

Course: Health Care Sciences

“My week definitely wasn’t as interesting as Kiran’s…”
It probably was but Alice is nice!
So there you go…very interesting indeed!
