I’m an Independent Visitor!
Hello everyone!
Hope you’re all are doing fine with your revision before the exams in the next few weeks. My exam will be in late June unfortunately.
Anyway, on Tuesday last week, I went to meet my young person whom I will befriend for the next 2 years. I was really excited about this position since I applied in November last year. This role involved me doing fun activities with this child which include dining at a restaurant, playing football in the park or simply going for a walk around the city centre. I really hope that the child would benefit from this project organised by Barnardo’s. And I really hope that we would have great times together.
Besides that, I am currently writing my CFU (Community Follow-up) report. This module is quite interesting as it involved me following a patient for a duration of approximately one and a half year. In addition, one report will go on to win the Med Chi Prize. Well, it would be great to win the award but I would be happy if I can be a nominee for the prize. My topic is on social support and the deadline is on Wednesday. On the same day, I would have to present my CFU project to my colleague and this presentation would also be assessed. And on the afternoon at around 3.30 pm, I’d have to take a train back to Nottingham from King’s Mill Hospital, Sutton-in-Ashfield as I would be attending the Nottingham Advantage Award Celebration Event. Yeap, 9th of May is going to be a very hectic day but I’m definitely looking forward to it =)
Well, that’s all for now. I wish you all well with your studies and I’ll write more soon.
Being me,
