SUN, SEA AND SUSPICIOUS TATTOOS
So I’ve officially finished my degree. It still hasn’t quite sunk in. Those around me congratulate me, but my response seems to be a blank stare followed by an “Oh my gosh, yeah”. I’m sure it will really hit home in a week or two, or at Graduation Ball.
Straight after my exam, I finished packing and went to the station to pick up my friend to head to East Midlands Airport. Just came back from a great holiday in Salou, Spain. Made sandcastles, had lots of seafood, and even came back with a tan!
One of my highlights was a day trip to Barcelona, where we visited the popular La Rambla and Mercat de La Boqueria. There were lots of little stalls selling foodstuffs. I got some authentic paella seasoning, and souvenirs.
I also got a temporary tattoo. Just waiting for the perfect moment to reveal it. Today I’m going to a cousin’s birthday party. She’s turning three. Probably not the best place to reveal my new ink. Can’t wait to see people’s reactions though.
Hope your exams went well.
Back next Friday! 🙂
