Student Service Centre Plans – Updated 9 May

Over the past few weeks you may have seen some changes taking place around campus. The renovation work for the new Student Service Centres is now well underway with various completion dates scheduled for between March and May. In this blog post you will be able to see the locations of the new Service Centres along with some design plans.
There will be five new service centres and three satellite centres, in the following locations:
- University Park, Central
- University Park, East
- Queen’s Medical Centre
- The Exchange, Jubilee
- The Barn, Sutton Bonington
- Royal Derby Hospital (satellite)
- City Hospital (satellite)
- Humanities (satellite)
The precise locations of the five main service centres are depicted in the maps below (click on the images to enlarge them).

A crucial concept of the new Student Service Centres is that each facility will have a large space for students. This will include the provision to interact with administrative staff, the inclusion of private meeting areas, and printing facilities. There will also be office areas for the staff who will be working in these service centres.
The floor plans for the service centres can be found below (click on the images to enlarge them). Please note that these are still plans and the details may be subject to change.
