Nottingham in the news: Day 6
The University of Nottingham is celebrating a summer of successes as it prepares to welcome students for the new academic year. For the next few weeks we’ll be profiling a daily story that put Nottingham in the news.
We’re GOLD for teaching
The University of Nottingham provides its students with teaching of the very highest quality, according to the results of the inaugural Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
The TEF panel judged that the University delivers consistently outstanding teaching, learning and outcomes for its students. It reached the gold standard — the highest quality found in the UK.
The gold award reflects a huge amount of hard work to ensure that students get the best possible experience during their time at Nottingham. This includes excellent teaching and academic support, investment in world-class facilities and access to truly global opportunities.
Find out more about our submission and TEF. The story was covered by Notts TV and in Impact Magazine and West Bridgford Wire.
Clearing course listings for EU and UK students will be released on the evening of Wednesday 16 August. Our Clearing hotline will open at 8am on Thursday 17 August. Places are still available for qualified international students (outside the EU) on many of our undergraduate courses starting in September 2017. Visit our Clearing pages.
