Operation Wild for Nottingham vet

The BBC followed Dr Sandra Corr, from our Vet School, as she performed a pioneering operation in Cameroon in a bid to transform the life of Shufai the gorilla.

There’s still time to catch the first episode of BBC One’s Operation Wild, presented by Clare Balding, which explores how developments in human medicine are transforming the way sick animals are treated around the world.

To hear more about Dr Corr’s work, tune in to BBC Radio Nottingham’s Drivetime show on 7 August from 4pm and read more about the project.
