Pallet Pavilion wins recognition at Ecobuild

Architecture students have been recognised for their green design at Ecobuild – the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment.

The team of second year students from the Dept of Architecture and Built Environment have designed the pavilion built from shipping pallets.

Their ‘Fleeting Retreat’ has been named runner up in the UK Green Building Council Sustainable Stand Awards. The award was presented for demonstrating excellent consideration of environmental and social impacts.
