Two trials from Adam Matthew Digital
We are pleased to announce trial access to 2 products from Adam Matthew Digital – the archives of the Virginia Company of London and Slavery, Abolition & Social Justice.
This provides a history of the Virginia Company of London, 1606-1624, and comes from the archives of the Ferrar family who played a major part in the Company’s administration.
The resource documents the founding and economic development of the Virginia colony, relations between colonists and indigenous peoples and early trade between Britain and America.
It provides records and transcriptions from the Company as well as maps and colourised prints.
