Libraries photo competition: The winners!
In May 2018 we set you the challenge of capturing, in photographic form, something you love about our libraries. Over 150 of you took up the challenge and entered our Libraries photo competition.
The judging process was extremely tough. On the plus side, we were inundated with loads of truly wonderful images of our library buildings, interior spaces, people and campus wildlife. A big thank you to all who entered!
The winners
A panel of judges – including Students’ Union Education Officer Cassie O’Boyle – were tasked with the unenviable job of selecting just 20 overall winners. These will form the basis of a series of exhibitions which will be installed in our libraries over the summer. A further public vote through our website and Twitter decided the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners who will receive a £50, £30 and £20 voucher respectively:
- 1st Prize – Jia Goh
- 2nd Prize – Bansari Shah
- 3rd Prize – Jessica Rushton
