On trial: Latin American Newspapers (1822-1922)

We’re pleased to announce trial access to Latin American Newspapers (Series 2), created in partnership with one of the largest newspaper repositories, the Center for Research Libraries.

This series provides issues from more than 250 titles published in English, Spanish and Portuguese from 20 countries, including some countries and cities not represented in the inaugural collection of Latin American Newspapers. Through eyewitness reporting, editorials, legislative information, letters, poetry, advertisements, matrimony notices and obituaries, this collection chronicles the evolution of Latin American culture and daily life across two centuries, enabling comparison and contrasting perspectives on issues and events.

The trial runs until 31 August 2023.
