American papers in the House of Lords Record Office 1621-1917
Collected papers of the Bolton Walt Whitman Fellowship including correspondence and photographs
Slave trading records from William Davenport Co 1745-1797:
This is a vital resource for the study of British slave trader William Davenport’s company, the African slave trade, and leading merchant families in Liverpool.
Highlights include:
Trading invoices and accounts for the company’s ships
Cargo lists and prices
Ledger books for 1763-1775
Both trials run until 5 November 2019.
