FCERM.net comes to Scotland (28th May 2015)
On 28 May 2015, The Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management Network (FCERM.net) Annual Assembly will take place in Edinburgh.
The Network is headed by Heriot-Watt University’s Professor Garry Pender and aims to bring together a diverse range of professionals from across the Flood Risk Management sector, as well as those working in related disciplines. This year the focus of the Assembly is on dissemination and impact of research outcomes.
The objectives of the Assembly are to:
• Share information about on-going research in Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management (FCERM) and identify knowledge gaps
• Develop a dialogue between the researcher community and research-users
• Create opportunities for networking and encourage development of research students and early career researchers in FCERM
• To promote the dissemination of research outcomes into information of that is of practical value to the user-community to generate the highest possible impact
The Assembly is free to attend, and any researchers, research students or practitioners in industry who are interested in FCERM are encouraged to attend.
