Welcome to the new Alumni Relations blog, we will be posting content which we hope you will find interesting and insightful as well as updating you on alumni events and all aspects of university life. This blog is another avenue to receive information from your Alumni Relations team, if there are areas you would like us to cover, or topics which you would like to see raised for discussion please do not hesitate to get in touch. Similarly if you are a member of our alumni community and would like to write about your experiences or current activity why not contact us to be a guest blogger?
We are working hard to compile an exciting programme of events and communication which we hope will be of interest to our alumni, but again, if you have any ideas for future events, or would like to arrange an event please contact us and we will do our best to make it happen.
There are so many ways to keep updated; obviously over the coming weeks and months this blog will be full of interesting content. Our Facebook, Twitter and Linked In pages are also great ways to receive up to the minute news and updates on all things alumni. Become an alumni ambassador?
We are always on the look out for alumni ambassadors, it is so wonderful to see so many alumni getting in touch and requesting information to organise reunions. We have lots of advice and help to offer and are always eager to hear from alumni who would like to get involved.
For those alumni who live abroad we have international associations all over the world and if you would like to set up an international association please contact our International Alumni Officer, Hannah Curnock who would love to hear from you. Hannah.curnock@nottingham.ac.uk.
Closer to home for those living in London and the South East we have amazing events scheduled, keep an eye out for exclusive University of Nottingham Alumni opportunities with the chance to visit some of London’s most exciting venues and attractions. Many of our alumni have stayed in the wonderful city of Nottingham or the surrounding areas. There is so much on offer here in the region it is little wonder that so many of our top calibre graduates decide to stay local to the University.
