Stand out from the crowd: Get involved in the Advantage Award!

The results are in! With spring term well under way, we look back on what our Class of 2014 graduates think about their Advantage Award.

Every student has a mixture of reasons why they get involved in the Award. Here are some snippets from this year’s alumni survey for their reasons for taking part. Do you agree?

Q: Why take part in the Advantage Award?

Q: Why take part in the Advantage Award?

The above diagram displays why our alumni took part in the Advantage Award, while they were studying at Nottingham. With the highest responses being ‘Increases Employability’, ‘Boosts your CV’ and ‘Enhancing Skills’, are these areas that you could develop or want to improve too? Then the Advantage Award could be your solution!

Whether you are in your first year and only just heardabout the Award, or have passed one or two modules in your second year and are wondering whether to complete the Award… Hopefully their reasons can help make your decision to get involved for you.

Want to get started right now?

There are still some modules that are open to applications, for spring term, during Easter as well as over summer if you are still looking to complete a module this year! Our dedicated Workspace page will give you some more information: Modules Still Open!

To browse the rest of the modules that the Award has to offer, these can be found on the All Modules page. Modules vary in terms of content, availability, delivery and application deadlines. It is recommended that you have a look at the module pages that interest you, to see whether you can attend the modules sessions and commit to the workload. Some modules run in one term only, while others could run for the whole year.

Would you like to know more?

We have regular drop-in sessions and information sessions open to students interested in learning more about the Advantage Award and to come and speak to a member of the Award team.
