Creating learning objects – personal video capture for teaching, review and assessment

Video >>

Sarah Speight and Sally Hanford on “Creating learning objects – personal video capture for teaching, review and assessment ” at  the Using Space and Technology to Enhance Learning event 2nd May 2014.

Session abstract:
Academics are increasingly looking to use multimedia in their teaching, both as a vehicle for content, but also as an efficient means of giving feedback. This short workshop showcased two means of personal video capture – Echo 360 and Camtasia Studio. Delegates were given a ‘whistlestop tour’ and then, working in groups, supported to produce their own video.

Feedback from the session will be used to inform the University’s decision making around which systems to support
