#MeantToBe friends at uni

There are some people at uni that you were just #MeantToBe friends with. Your neighbour in halls who always had the right change for the washing machine, the group you met in the bar before a night out in your first week, or that person wearing an Adventure Time t-shirt at the bus stop who likes all the same TV shows as you.

The Uni wants you to share your stories of #MeantToBe friendships on Instagram or Twitter and is offering weekly prizes for the best/cheesiest. Dig out those pics you took in your first year and tell us what brought you together. This competition is running from 1 March until the end of the year (17 June eek) and you can share as many pics as you like. You’ll also have the chance to tell your story in the UoNVideoBox, so keep an eye on @UniofNottingham and @UoNStudentLife on Twitter for more details.
