Staff and student interviews: Chris Morley

Over the past few months we’ve been adding a steady stream of interviews with staff and students on our Youtube channel, UoN Physics.

The latest addition is an interview with former undergraduate and current PhD student Chris Morley. Chris will be a familiar face to anyone who comes to one of the interview days that makes up an important part of our undergraduate admissions process. In addition to answering questions and giving tours of the department, he’s one of the team of student ambassadors who give short talks about their experiences at Nottingham. In it, he discusses ultra cold atoms and rock music and everything in between.

Check out his video to hear why physics won him over from engineering, the challenge and enjoyment of the independent work in his final year, and why resitting a maths A-level was actually helpful rather than a disaster.
