Best Bar None: Winners 2013

We know that many of our students like to partake in Nottingham’s nightlife, which is why the University supports Nottingham Best Bar None.

Nottingham Best Bar None is an accreditation and awards scheme for licensed premises (bars, pubs and clubs) in the city. It recognises those premises which provide a safe and responsible environment for their customers to enjoy.

Accredited venues have to meet a nationally agreed set of standards, which includes providing evidence of policies in several areas including security, drinks and drunkenness, drugs, safety and noise. This year, members of your Off Campus team have helped to assess some bars against the Best Bar None criteria, as well as encouraging our students to vote in the people’s choice category.
