Good News from the Division

We are into the new semester and we have some fantastic news to share from the Division of Nutritional Sciences:

Dr Simon Welham and Professor Andy Salter together with Dr Ian Hardy (Division of Animal Sciences) have successfully secured funding from Eminate Ltd (http://www.eminate.co.uk/ ) and the School of Biosciences to fund a PhD Studentship investigating ‘Insects as a source of dietary protein and lipid in the human food chain’

Congratulations to Kirsten Whitehead who has a had a paper accepted for the Nutritional Society Irish Section meeting. Kirsten will present her paper entitled ‘Changing dietary behaviour – the impact of practitioner communication’ on 20th June at the University of Ulster.
