Nottingham academics have won a Gold Medal at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Nottingham has played a key role in the genetic sequencing of the tomato genome. This international research project involving 14 different countries will help breeders produce new varieties of tasty tomatoes with higher concentrations of healthy nutrients.
