On trial: historical collections from Gale Primary Sources
The library subscribes to a range of content from Gale. To complement the current trial to the Digital Scholar Lab we’re pleased to also bring you trial access to a number of historical collections from Gale Primary Sources:

Political Extremism & Radicalism in the Twentieth Century: Far-Right and Left Political Groups in the U.S., Europe, and Australia.
This collection provides researchers with an extensive range of primary source material documenting political extremism in the twentieth century, allowing researchers access to material ranging from the far right and fascist movements, to radical left wing groups.
The Telegraph Historical Archive 1855-2000
The Telegraph Historical Archive, 1855-2000 is the fully searchable digital archive of what was once the world’s largest-selling newspaper. Researchers and students can full-text search across 1 million pages of the newspaper’s backfile from its first issue to the end of 2000, including issues of the Sunday Telegraph from 1961.

In partnership with the Bodleian library, digital access to newspapers, periodicals, pamphlets and broadsheets that form the Nichols newspaper collection is provided in a full text searchable format.. A unique source for building a picture of what was happening in politics, culture and society at this time, week-by-week, year-by-year.
