On trial: Le Corpus augmenté des remarques et des traités sur la langue française (XVIIe siècle) from Classiques Garnier
We are pleased to announce trial access to Le Corpus augmenté des remarques et des traités sur la langue française (XVIIe siècle).
The Corpus is a resource for specialists in seventeenth-century language and literature as well as for all those interested in the history of French, its codification, and standardization. It contains the classic texts (Vaugelas, Ménage, Bouhours), the collections organized alphabetically (Alemand, Andry de Boisregard), the texts that censure Vaugelas and advocate greater freedom of usage (Dupleix, La Mothe Le Vayer), the volumes originating from the Académie Française (commentary on Vaugelas, Tallemant), as well as lesser-known texts (Buffet, Macé).
To explore these texts, the Corpus offers a number of tools: full-text search; an encyclopedia of authors, titles of works, examples, and quotations—with the ability to build a corpus and extract and export results. You can read more about the Corpus contents.
If you can on-campus, you can access the trial here.
If you can off-campus, you can access the trial here.
The trials run until Thursday 13 July 2023. Do let us know what you think. Please send your feedback to the Collections team: collections@nottingham.ac.uk
