Libraries Week 2019
Monday 7 October marks the start of Libraries Week – an annual nationwide celebration of libraries. The theme for 2019’s celebrations is digital.
Throughout the week we’ll be sharing some of our favourite digital resources to support your studying, teaching, research or personal development.

Our digital collections in numbers
University of Nottingham Libraries hold a wide range of digital collections including over 300,000 ebooks and 20,000 ejournals.
On an average day our users borrow 2,000 books and access 15,000 ebook pages.

In 2018, course reading lists contained links to
– 24,051 ebooks
– 4,140 ebook chapters
– 13,851 ejournal articles
– 11,287 web pages
– 712 online audio-visual resources

They may be right that digitaly everything has changed but no one can take place of books
Great blog – thanks for sharing. Such amazing numbers. Ebooks are so good for university libraries, especially when there is high demand for the same physical books.
