The Ingenuity Lab’s mission is to create an environment where entrepreneurs can channel their creativity and start their own enterprises. This innovative culture our community adopts is a fantastic way to generate new ideas.
Our big move to The Ingenuity Centre is planned for early next year, and the design of the new space is set to inspire and engage our entrepreneurs, mentors and staff members.
But why have we put so much effort into the design of the new space? There are three main benefits to investing in a creative and inspiring office environment…
Improved efficiency and more creativity
Creating pride in the workplace reinforces pride in the task being undertaken within it. To allow our members to reach their full entrepreneurial potential, we want them to be able to work in a space that can aid their creativity and productivity.
Positive moods award us with greater flexibility in thinking. Adopting a more dynamic approach will allow the whole Ingenuity Lab community to be open-minded, innovative and achieve things previously considered ‘un-achievable’.
Reduced stress levels
Running your own business can be an incredibly rewarding experience; however, the daily tasks involved can become overwhelming. Inside The Ingenuity Centre, we will have break-out spaces that provide members with an opportunity to relax, shift thought processes, and regain focus.
Having access to views of green landscapes is linked to emotional wellbeing and a reduction in muscle tensions. The panoramic windows in the new Ingenuity Lab will provide members with unspoilt views of Wollaton Hall and the surrounding parkland. This means if things get stressful, you can look up from your computer screen, take in the view and refresh your mindset.
Increased customer perception
Many of our entrepreneurs will be meeting potential clients, investors and mentors in the new space. Greeting them in a thoughtfully designed environment gives credibility to our members’ brands and makes clients more willing to invest in you, your products and services.
